Hi, We’re Roth & Angell.

Roth and Angell is Chef Peter Deitrick, Chef Salley Gillespie and Operations Manager Shannon Murphy. Catering to both North and South Carolina, based in the Charlotte Metropolitan area.

After completing their undergraduate educations, Chef’s Peter and Salley met, attended and graduated from the Culinary Institue of America at Hyde Park. They both went on to have successful culinary careers in Manhattan, NY. They have worked at James Bear Award and Michelin Star restaurants and have served well known clients such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Claire Dains, Blake Lively, Ryan Renyolds, Serena Williams, Baker Mayfield, Polo Ralph Lauren, Goldman Sachs, and NASCAR stars.

Chef Deitrick trained in France, London and Mexico; managed kitchen in boutique Manhattan hotels, has been featured in Forbes Magazine for NY next culinary destination and worked with celebrity chefs David Burke and Alain Duccase. Chef Salley has managed restaurants, hotels and taught collegiate level culinary courses as well as having been offered a position managing The Boscue Restaurant on the CIA campus.

They bring over 20 years of culinary excellence and experience to the Charlotte area and can’t wait to serve you.

Shannon Murphy has a 15-year background in corporate business, sales, and recruiting. After leaving a rewarding career supporting US Defense and Intelligence staffing in government contracting, she is excited to start this new chapter in the catering industry. She runs the manages operations, booking, and front of house responsibilities. If you’re lucky you might catch a glimpse of her in the kitchen trying not to get in Chef’s way.
